Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.
My favorite experience is having exposure and access to different musicians and composers. Also, to be able to see other performers and various performances within the school.
When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?
The Creative Process is such a rewarding class. It opened my eyes to how much it takes to be an artist.
What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?
Studying in Boston is engaging and is a well-rounded source of education. Studying in the Conservatory, you have a close-knit community and everyone is knowledgeable about their field and is willing to help. Living in Boston, I get to enjoy seeing many different historic buildings, and being able to walk to the Museum of Fine Arts or Fenway Park is a definite plus.
What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee?
You have nothing to lose and all to gain.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
The Ipswich building, a.k.a. the Richard Ortner Studio Building.
Why did you choose Berklee?
I knew that this school would push me to become a great artist and person. Also, the faculty are very compassionate and you can feel how much they love teaching; I knew that I would feel supported.
What are your plans for after graduation?
My plans for after graduation are to go on auditions to become an apprentice in a company.
What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you’ve been involved in at Berklee?
It’s a beautiful experience to see how projects become complete on stage, and it’s an enjoyable fulfillment to feel the love around my peers while dancing [and from] the audience.
Where do you hope to perform this coming year?
I hope to perform on the Mainstage theater in the Hemenway building.
