Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

Giving tours to prospective students. I enjoy working in the Admissions Office and being able to share my experience with students that are interested in attending Berklee.

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

I enjoyed Lyric Writing because it allowed me to write songs I wanted to write, while also giving me exercises and tools to expand on my skills.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?

Being surrounded by college students. There are so many colleges in the area, and it's really nice to know we're all coexisting in a way and enjoying the food and sights that Boston has to offer.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

To truly just be yourself. As cheesy as that sounds, being your authentic self is what really matters when applying. The faculty wants to get to know you, so don't worry about trying to sound or be like someone else.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

The small patio area outside of 7 Haviland Street. It's always so peaceful, and it's also a nice place to eat lunch or chat with your friends.

Why did you choose Berklee?

I chose Berklee because I knew it was a great place to figure out what specific musical path I wanted to take. It gave me the resources necessary to figure out what career I envisioned for myself.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I plan to move to L.A. to work in publishing and sync. At some point I would also like to submit my own music to publishing companies.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you’ve been involved in at Berklee?

I really enjoy just seeing the audience enjoying themselves while I play on stage. It's a nice feeling knowing others are supporting your art.

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

I don't do too much performing, so I think my goal is to just perform my original music at an open mic somewhere in Boston.
