Berklee Announces Participation in Beyoncé’s Formation Scholars Award

Berklee is thrilled to announce that singer-songwriter and actress Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has established a one-time $25,000 scholarship called the Formation Scholars Award.

Berklee is thrilled to announce that singer-songwriter and actress Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has established a one-time $25,000 scholarship called the Formation Scholars Award. The scholarship was created to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her award-winning album Lemonade and is available to a qualified female student studying at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Berklee College of Music (Boston campus or Valencia, Spain campus), or Berklee Online for the 2017–2018 academic year. The goal of this award is to "encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box, and who are bold, creative, conscious, and confident."
