Student Recital: Blake Pilger, Composition—Indigo

Actors present a staged reading of Indigo: A New Musical, composed by Blake Dylan Pilger (B.M. '20, composition) with book and additional lyrics by River Kai Pilger. In this thought-provoking work, Indigo, a non-binary recent college graduate, runs away from a traumatic past which they must eventually face, forcing them to choose between a painful familitary and a frightening new world.

This performance is presented as part of the 2017 Boston Conservatory at Berklee New Music Festival.
