Flutes—From Ethnic to Electronic is an evening of flute works performed by Berklee College of Music faculty member Wendy Rolfe, featuring repertoire commissioned with a Berklee Faculty Fellowship Grant.
The recital highlights works played on ethnic flutes melded with the sounds of electronics and piano. Commissioned composers include Harvey Sollberger and Berklee College of Music alumni I-Yun Chung and Burak Besir. The evening will also include works by college faculty composers Beth Denisch and James Kachulis. Pianist Deborah DeWolf Emery.
