Mike Truesdell, director of percussion at Ithaca College, presents The Connection—an evening of works for marimba and vibraphone spanning over 300 years. This hour-long recital threads a dramatic narrative through the works of Alessandro Scarlatti, James P. Johnson, Karlheinz Stockhausen, and others to illuminate the various connections that exist, and will include the Boston premiere of a work by New York-based composer Jonathan Dawe.
