Data has always been used extensively in the music industry. However, with the growth of music streaming services, the amount of music usage data available nowadays is unprecedented. Because of this, analyzing data can be both overwhelming and time-consuming for music industry professionals.

With this webinar, you will get the skills to handle spreadsheets with large volumes of music data. We will focus on the importance of having a clean data set, visualizing what matters, and paying closer attention to the nuances to see how they may play out.

No prior knowledge of professional software is required, and you will be provided with a music usage data set to work on. Free access to Google Sheet is mandatory.

You will learn how to

  • use music data to audit and measure the digital presence of artists
  • build an index to benchmark an artist’s performance
  • audit and measure the digital presence of an artist with data
  • develop actionable indicators and clean streaming and royalties data for later analysis
