Conversation with Director Lonny Price

Join the Composition Department for a conversation with theater actor and director Lonny Price, whose credits include Sunset Boulevard, Sweeney Todd, and Lady Day. His documentary, Best Worst Thing That Ever Could Have Happened, was named one of the 10 best films of 2016 by the New York Times.

Spotlight Series: 2020 Pulitzer Prize Winner Michael R. Jackson

This semester’s Spotlight Series kicks off with a visit from playwright, composer, and lyricist Michael R. Jackson, who won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for the off-Broadway sensation A Strange Loop, becoming the first Black musical writer to win the award.
