Zeltsman Marimba Festival On Tour is a four-day marimba intensive from May 25–28 with evening concerts open to the public featuring international faculty/artists.
Zeltsman Marimba Festival On Tour’s opening night extravaganza promises to be an unforgettable, diverse program of solo and chamber music. It will feature adaptations of music by Couperin, Dvořák, Grieg, Nazareth, and Piazzolla—alongside percussion music by Luiz Goncalves, Daniel Levitan, Donald Martino, Christos Rafalides, Nancy Zeltsman, and more!
Featuring the ZMF On Tour 2018 faculty Fernando Chaib, Theodor Milkov, Jack Van Geem, Laurent Warnier, Nancy Zeltsman, and Xi (Rachel) Zhang,
with special guests Samuel Z. Solomon, percussion; Christos Rafalides, vibes; Brian Calhoon, marimba; Angela Skarpelis, vocals; and Team ZMF On Tour Boston 2018.
