Boston Conservatory at Berklee faculty Saul Bitran, Andrew Mark, Charlotte Hu, and Philipp Stäudlin, along with faculty duo Marimolin (Sharan Leventhal, violin, and Nancy Zeltsman, marimba) perform works by Schubert, Chasalow, and others.
Boston Conservatory’s contemporary chamber ensemble contraBAND, led by Sarah Brady, performs works by Chacon, Eastman, and Rzewski, as well as a world premiere by Boston Conservatory faculty member Laura Kaminsky.
Students of percussion faculty members Jonathan Bisesi, Kyle Brightwell, Matt Smallcomb, Samuel Solomon, and Nancy Zeltsman perform the second recital of a two-part series, featuring selected solo and small chamber performances.
Baroque cellist Phoebe Carrai is a distinguished music educator and a longtime member of Musica Antiqua Köln, with over 40 recordings for Deutsche Gramophone. Carrai will present a program of works of J.S. Bach, Dall’Abaco, and Kummer.
