Conservatory culture, shaped by tradition, brings in the new.

Boston Conservatory announces the appointment of Joe Bennett, Ph.D., an internationally renowned music educator, music specialist, author, and forensic musicologist, as the school’s new Vice President for Academic Affairs. He assumed the role July 2015.

Boston Conservatory student Emily Richards (B.F.A. ’15, Contemporary Dance) has been selected to present her research at the annual International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) conference in October 2015.

Boston Conservatory is saddened by the passing of Ruth Sandholm Ambrose, who served as Chair of the Boston Conservatory’s Dance Division from 1967–1989.
