Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

My favorite Berklee experience so far would definitely have to be the caf shows.

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

My favorite class so far has been Acting Skills for Vocalists. Previous to this class I didn’t have much performance experience, so it helped me open up and learn more about establishing a stage presence by putting on a character. It allowed me to truly connect with the music and lyrics so much more.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?

I love how different Boston is from my hometown. I’ve been able to experience seasons, build more independence, and learn my way around such a beautiful city.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

I would say to not hold back. Be your true, authentic self and be proud of who that is. Berklee wants to see all of the special things about you that can add so much more to the school.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is the 150 Massachusetts Avenue building.

Why did you choose Berklee?

I chose Berklee because I wanted the opportunity to surround myself with countless other incredibly talented musicians that I can network with and learn so much from. The resources Berklee offers are incomparable to many other colleges and universities.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I plan to become a professional music producer and mixing engineer, eventually working in and owning my own recording studio.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you’ve been involved in at Berklee?

Unfortunately, I have not yet been involved in any live shows at Berklee due to COVID-19, but I hope to get involved now that the campus is opening back up!

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

I would love the opportunity to perform at the Berklee Performance Center.
