Directed by Vimbayi Kaziboni, Boston Conservatory String Orchestra performs works by Hildegard von Bingen, Remo Giazotto, Joseph Bologne and Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Andile Khumalo, Heinrich Biber, and Alfred Schnittke.
Boston Conservatory Percussion Ensemble performs works by Giacinto Scelsi, Caroline Shaw, Midori Takada, and Ayanna Woods, as well as Louis Andriessen’s Workers Union in tribute to his memory. This performance is presented in-person and will also be available to view via livestream.
Hemenway Strings presents a musical evening of remembrance and hope with special guest poet Maya Giles (B.M. ’21, violin). This performance has been selected as part of Boston Conservatory at Berklee's fall 2021 Center Stage collection.
