In Their Own Words

I was trained to be an orchestral musician, and I still get to exercise those muscles on stage at Symphony Hall. But, my passion for contemporary music is the world that keeps me learning new things. Being a lifelong learner is one of the most important characteristics for any virtuoso in the classroom. COVID-19 showed me a life without live music and reinforced that I am at my best teaching when I am able to perform live. My goal for every student I encounter is to someday be able to share the stage with them, whether it be a small stage or a big one. Making live music together is the whole point!
