Spotlight: Natalie Logan

My name is Natalie Logan, and I am a graduate student from Dallas, Texas.

I first encountered Boston Conservatory as a junior in high school when I attended the Vocal/Choral Intensive summer program. I immediately fell in love with this incredibly warm and supportive community. It’s inspiring to discover a place where the arts are truly central to its purpose.

In the 2014/15 season, I performed the roles of First Priestess in Gluck’s Iphigenie en Tauride and Anne Trulove in The Rake’s Progress. I am so proud to be working with amazingly talented teachers and colleagues who are passionate about their craft and dedicated to sharing and promoting their art.

As a work-study student, I get the opportunity to interact with audience members and many of the Conservatory’s closest friends. This experience has made me more well-rounded and self-aware as a performer. I want to pursue a career as a professional opera singer, teach in higher education, and remain involved in arts administration.

It’s an honor and a privilege to pursue my passion in an environment that cultivates artistic freedom and personal growth and challenges me to be an artist who lives with passion, integrity, determination, and commitment. I want to give other students the same opportunity to fulfill their potential as artists and become active members of the community.
