Private Music Lessons


Private lessons for autism spectrum students

Established in 2007, this pioneering program pairs students on the autism spectrum with Boston Conservatory Music Education graduate students for weekly music lessons. Lessons are offered in voice, piano, percussion, guitar, strings, woodwinds, and brass instruments, as well as music theory and composition. Financial aid is available to families who qualify.

Saturdays, 12 weeks in the fall and spring; up to 8 weeks in the summer

Fall 2016 lessons begin in September


$1,000 per semester, includes 12 weekly lessons and mid-week check ins, and a recital in the spring semester

Skill Level

No previous music experience necessary


Students must be able to participate effectively in lessons or classes and maintain an environment that is safe for themselves and others.
