Youth theater

Boston Conservatory offers a variety of summer programs for elementary- and middle school-aged students who have an interest in the performing arts.

Boston Public Schools Summer Music Program

This 12-day program is specially designed for Boston public middle school and high school instrumentalists and vocalists. Through intensive ensemble work, focused workshops, and sectionals/ear training/musicianship classes, students in this program will continue to develop their musical skills in a supportive and demanding environment. The program concludes with a celebration concert for parents and friends.

Day Sessions: Dance

Geared toward dancers who want to improve their technique and artistry, this program will offer you the opportunity to explore a wide variety of styles including ballet, jazz, West African, and Latin dance. Classes are energetic and inspiring, taught by experienced faculty who love sharing their passion for dance. The week will culminate in a performance for family and friends.

Day Sessions: Musical Theater (previously called Born To Perform)

This program is the perfect introduction for students who have always wanted to give theater a try as well as those who have already gotten started and wish to advance their craft.
