Announcing STAGES Magazine Winter 2021: Innovation in Action

Over the past few years, Boston Conservatory at Berklee has taken bold steps to reimagine the nearly 155-year-old institution and the conservatory model itself to equip students with a unique contemporary education that prepares them to be tomorrow’s leaders, culture creators, and change-makers. The Winter 2021 issue of STAGES examines how Boston Conservatory is enacting unprecedented academic reinvention and placing students at the forefront of innovation, not only in the classroom but in the dance, music, and theater industries at large.

Issue highlights:

• Boston Conservatory’s Executive Director Cathy Young takes us through the Boston Conservatory Method (BCB) Method, the Conservatory’s unique educational approach that provides a transformational experience for students by cultivating the future-proof skills of creativity and fearless learning.
   
• Faculty members discuss creating groundbreaking curricular change across the Dance, Music, and Theater divisions, enabled by the Conservatory’s inaugural Faculty Strategic Innovation Grants.
