Chair of Composition, Contemporary Music, and Core Studies Jonathan Bailey Holland’s composition His House Is Not of This Land was performed at the Bang on a Can marathon at Mass MoCA. The piece was inspired by Cornelia Parker’s art installation Anti-Mass, which uses burnt wood collected from a torched Southern Baptist church.
