Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Fall Dance Concert 'From the Ground Up' Features Five New Works from Guests Artists

Boston Conservatory at Berklee will present its fall concert, From the Ground Up, November 2 through 5 at the Boston Conservatory Theater, located at 31 Hemenway Street in Boston.

Boston Conservatory at Berklee will present its fall concert, From the Ground Up, November 2 through 5 at the Boston Conservatory Theater, located at 31 Hemenway Street in Boston.

The program will feature an array of new works created for Conservatory students by leading dance artists Jonathan Campbell and Austin Diaz (artistic directors of MADBOOTS Dance), Gregory Dawson (former dancer with Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet), Uri Sands (former dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater), Jennifer Archibald (internationally recognized ballet, modern, and theater choreographer and director), and Conservatory alumnus Thang Dao (B.F.A. '01, dance), an award-winning choreographer and former dancer with Stephen Petronio Company.

“Our annual fall dance concert From the Ground Up showcases the expertise and artistry of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee dance majors, performing original pieces made for them by guest artists who have inspired them,” said Tommy Neblett, interim dean of dance. “We are thrilled to debut these new works by five industry luminaries.”

Evening performances will take place November 2 through 4 at 8:00 p.m.; matinees will take place on November 4 and 5 at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets for From the Ground up are $30 for premium seating; $25 for regular seating; $25–$20 for senior citizens, Conservatory alumni, and WGBH members; and $20–$15 for students.

In Person: Tickets to Boston Conservatory at Berklee events may be purchased in person at the Berklee Box Office, located at the Berklee Performance Center, 136 Massachusetts Avenue, Monday through Saturday, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Beginning one hour prior to the performance start time, tickets may be purchased in person directly at the venue where the event is taking place. All day-of ticket sales are subject to availability.
