Boston Conservatory at Berklee's upcoming Center Stage performance series event contraBAND: A Woman Sees How the World Goes with No Eyes creates a multisensory immersion into the works of 12 leading women composers. The event, which will be held on November 5 at the Conservatory, features an eclectic tour of genre-defying pieces by Yoko Ono, Pauline Oliveros, Eun Young Lee, and more, exploring the experimental edges of vocal, electronic, and orchestral music, and beyond. The music will be performed by contraBAND, the Conservatory's contemporary classical music ensemble, and directed by Vimbayi Kaziboni, assistant professor of orchestral studies and contemporary music.

The following playlist includes selections from the featured composers, but only represents a small slice of their combined many decades of music, so in advance of the show, feel free to start here and dive deep into the many rivers of this delta.
