Introducing the Presidential Scholarship

Boston Conservatory at Berklee announces its new Presidential Scholarship Program, available to top incoming students beginning fall 2017.

November 22, 2016

Starting in fall 2017, Boston Conservatory at Berklee will select one of the top incoming undergraduate students from each division (dance, music, and theater) to receive the prestigious Presidential Scholarship. The scholarship, which covers the cost of tuition, on-campus housing, meal plan, and the comprehensive fee*, is renewable over four years of study.

The Presidential Scholarship Program is founded on the principle that all deserving, talented, students, regardless of financial status, should be given the opportunity to experience the unique benefits of a Boston Conservatory at Berklee education. Presidential Scholars represent highly talented young artists who stand out among their graduating high school peers. This exclusive honor is available to both domestic and international students.

To qualify, applicants must first demonstrate the highest artistic merit through the admissions auditions process. Candidates who qualify based on their admissions application will be nominated for the Presidential Scholarship, and will be asked to complete an application for need-based financial aid (FAFSA/International Aid Application) and to submit supplemental materials to complete the application process. Final selection of the Presidential Scholars will be announced annually in April.

*Health Insurance, travel, books, and miscellaneous fees are not included.
