Full Biography

Alison Pugh (she/her) is a costume designer, technician, and visual artist serving as the costume shop manager at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She has been with BCB since 2018, first serving as the stock manager and a draper/stitcher. During her time in the theater and film industries, Pugh has seen firsthand the power of collaboration, not only to create meaningful art, but to enrich communities through a united sense of purpose. She sees beauty in the direct exchange of thoughts and experiences among people, and seeks to engage these ideas through her work.

Costume design credits include The Barnstormers Theatre (CamelotEducating Rita, Silent Sky, Our Town, Urinetown), Monomoy Theatre (Little Shop of Horrors, A Little Night Music, As You Like It, On Golden Pond, A Flea in Her Ear), The Drama Studio (Madeline, The Boxcar Children, After JulietThe Phantom Tollbooth), Curry College (Greenday’s American Idiot), and Kingdom County Productions (Wetware). Alison holds a BA in film studies with a minor in costume design and construction from Mount Holyoke College.
