Bradley Williams joined the Conservatory’s voice faculty in 2017.
As one of opera's most sought-after tenors in the bel canto repertoire for 20 years, Williams was a regular guest of theaters around the world. He has appeared in many of the opera houses in Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Australia, Costa Rica, Canada, and the United States.
Notable conductors with whom he has collaborated include Julius Rudel, Edoardo Müller, Bruno Campanella, Gian Luigi Gelmetti, Evelino Pidò, Donald Runnicles, John Fiore, Joseph Rescigno, Yves Abel, Eve Queller, John DeMain, George Manahan, Will Crutchfield, Robert Spano, Robert Lyall, Paul Nadler, Eugene Kohn, Riccardo Frizza, Joel Revzen, Richard Buckley, Ward Holmquist, Cal Stewart Kellogg, Louis Salemno, John Crosby, Christopher Keene, Arthur Fagan, and Karen Keltner.
He may be heard on disc as Salvini in Bellini's Adelson e Salvini on the Nuova Era label and as Scott in Harvey Milk on the Teldec label.
In addition to his performing career, Williams has served as the general director of Cimarron Opera in Oklahoma and as an associate professor of voice at the University of Oklahoma and is currently the chair of voice at New England Conservatory. Williams’s students have won national and international competitions and currently perform in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He is regularly sought after as a master class presenter and adjudicator around the United States.
The Conroe, Texas, native obtained his B.M. and M.M. degrees at the University of Texas at Austin and pursued graduate studies at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.
