Performance Opportunities
On Campus
Each year, the Conservatory presents more than 260 new works by our students. Opportunities to hear your compositions performed include:
- Boston Conservatory at Berklee Composer Recital Series: An annual concert series of more than 25 concerts devoted to student composition performances by chamber ensembles, ensembles in residence, and student performers; each performance is livestreamed and recorded for archival purposes.
- Boston Conservatory Composers' Orchestra: An annual concert of student compositions written for orchestra.
- Boston Conservatory Wind Ensemble: An annual concert of student compositions written for wind ensemble.
- The Song Project: An annual composition collaboration with voice students.
- Living Voices/Living Songs: An annual concert featuring various choral ensembles singing new works written by student composers.,
- Master classes and workshops with visiting ensembles and artists.
- Collaborative projects with dance, music, and theater students.
Off Campus
- Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP)
- Numerous new music ensembles around the city, including Dinosaur Annex New Music Ensemble, Juventas, Guerilla Opera, Transient Canvas, New Gallery Concert Series, and many more.
- Opportunities to collaborate with local music ensembles
- Paid gig opportunities arranged through our Student Services Office
