Franklin Meissner, Jr. Credits: Lighting de- sign for the Lyric Stage Company productions including Company, Peter and the Starcatcher, Sweeney Todd (IRNE Award), By the Way, Meet Vera Stark, Avenue Q, Ain’t Misbehavin’, The Understudy, and According to Tip; lighting design Stoneham Theatre productions including Sweet Charity, Romeo and Juliet, My Fair Lady, A Christmas Carol, Strangers on a Train, Pageant, and Miracle on 34th Street; lighting design for Wheelock Family Theatre productions including Mary Poppins (Elliot Norton Award—Outstanding Design), Oliver!, The Secret Garden, The Phantom Tollbooth, and The Wizard of Oz; lighting design for New Repertory Theatre productions including The Snow Queen (IRNE Award), Little Shop of Horrors, The Wild Party, Cabaret, Dessa Rose, Sweeney Todd (IRNE Award), Into the Woods, Ragtime, Moby Dick (IRNE Award), and many others; lighting design for the Poets’ Theatre world premiere of Albatross (Norton Award—Outstanding Production); lighting design for productions off and off-off Broadway, at the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre (IRNE Award), SpeakEasy Stage, Central Square Theater, the North Shore Music Theatre, the South Shore Music Circus, Sanders Theatre, various corporate events and colleges around the state, and at 40 Carnegie Hall performances; member of United Scenic Artists.
