American String Teachers Association Massachusetts Chapter

Two Conservatory students received awards at the 2017 American String Teachers Association Massachusetts Chapter (MA-ASTA) Masters Solo Competition. Elisa Rodrigues Sadaba (B.M. '17, cello) won Grand Prize and Montserrat Siles (B.M. '20, violin) won the award for Best Contemporary Performance, Senior Division.

La Plata native and Boston Conservatory cellist Nathaniel Taylor (B.M. '15, G.P.D. '17, cello) wins the school's annual concerto competition to perform as the soloist on Elgar's Cello Concerto with the Boston Conservatory Orchestra. Taylor is the first cellist to win this prestigious competition in a decade.
