Boston Conservatory will resume on-campus instruction this spring with a hybrid semester that blends in-person instruction and state-of-the-art online coursework. The semester will begin a week later and forgo spring break.

Boston Conservatory at Berklee Executive Director Cathy Young will present an honorary doctorate to Tony Award–winning actress, singer, and dancer Sutton Foster at Boston Conservatory’s commencement ceremony on May 11. She will deliver commencement remarks for the Boston Conservatory at Berklee class of 2019 at the ceremony. Legendary American soprano Leontyne Price will be honored at the ceremony, where Dr. Laura Kafka-Price, a close relative, will accept an honorary doctorate on Price’s behalf.
Conservatory alumna Felicia Chen is a recipient of the 2018 Boston Conservatory at Berklee Alumni Entrepreneurial Grant. The award will help fund Mazumal, a duo Chen formed with Conservatory classmate Olivia Harris, in their mission of championing underrepresented voices in contemporary classical music.
