Update: Boston Conservatory Announces Fully Remote Fall Semester

Boston Conservatory at Berklee announces it will conduct all studies entirely remotely for the fall 2020 semester, providing students with a rich and immersive learning experience that balances important experiential training with dynamic academic coursework, and allows for more individualized attention and mentoring from faculty.

Boston Conservatory at Berklee faculty members from the institution’s Woodwind, Piano, and String departments will kick off the school’s 2019–2020 Center Stage season on November 1 with Chamber Series: Russian Giants, a celebration of three classical music “giants”—Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, and Shostakovich—at the Conservatory’s Seully Hall.

Boston Conservatory at Berklee Executive Director Cathy Young will present an honorary doctorate to Tony Award–winning actress, singer, and dancer Sutton Foster at Boston Conservatory’s commencement ceremony on May 11. She will deliver commencement remarks for the Boston Conservatory at Berklee class of 2019 at the ceremony. Legendary American soprano Leontyne Price will be honored at the ceremony, where Dr. Laura Kafka-Price, a close relative, will accept an honorary doctorate on Price’s behalf.
