Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Spring 2017 Performance Schedule Celebrates the School’s 150th Anniversary

Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s impressive spring performance lineup brings the finest in performing arts to the stage and celebrates the school's historic 150th anniversary year. The season features a broad range of new and classical works of dance, music, opera, and theater. Tickets go on sale January 25, 2017 at 12:00 p.m.

Highlights of the school's 150th anniversary season include the opera Dark Sisters, a gripping journey of self-discovery in a world where personal identity is forbidden, by contemporary composer and artist-in-residence Nico Muhly; the musical Side Show, recently revived on Broadway, that serves as a reminder that sometimes what makes us different is what makes us extraordinary; String Masters Series: Roger Tapping, features the violist performing works by Schumann and Brahms with Peter Frankl (piano) and Janna Baty (soprano); and Spring Dance Concert: Limitless, featuring a lineup of masterworks by esteemed choreographers Merce Cunningham, Ronald K. Brown, and Aszure Barton, as well as a world premiere by Yury Yanowsky.
