Boston Conservatory at Berklee faculty members Matt Sharrock and Steph Davis present a marimba duo recital featuring music by Margaret Bonds, Matthew Evan Taylor, Samuel Barber, and others.
Faculty artists Jean Anderson, piano, and David Small, baritone, present a concert featuring some of their favorite songs, including works of Brahms, Mahler, Finzi, Ben Moore, Kohn, Duparc, Faure, Guastavino, and Billy Joel.
Acclaimed pianist and Boston Conservatory professor Michael Lewin presents his only solo Boston recital of the season. Repertoire will include Pärt, Griffes, Liszt, Menotti, Debussy, and Moszkowski.
Trombonist, composer, conductor, and Boston Conservatory faculty member Norman Bolter presents Music as a Living Thing, a lecture and recital with piano and trombone choir accompaniment.
Boston Conservatory at Berklee faculty artists Markus Placci and Judith Eissenberg (violins), Paul Laraia (viola), and Rhonda Rider (cello) present an evening of dynamic works.
Nancy Zeltsman offers a marimba recital with repertoire by composers Gunther Schuller, Paul Simon, Antônio Carlos Jobim, and many more, marking the culmination of her recent sabbatical project.
Dan Callaway and Scott Nicholas share a range of French repertoire, featuring Henri Duparc, Gabriel Fauré, Émile Paladilhe, Reynaldo Hahn, Jacques Brel, and more.
