About the Artists

Christine Chen, violin, born and raised in Calgary, is an alum of the academy program at Mount Royal University Conservatory and the Calgary Youth Orchestra. She received both her B.M. and M.M. degrees at the University of Calgary, where she studied under Edmond Agopian and Lana Henchell. She is pursuing her Graduate Performance Diploma at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, studying under Lynn Chang. Chen enjoys performing not just classical music but also in the Berklee Performance Center shows, recording for pop, film scores, pop and film score concerts, and original composition
