This collaborative concert features faculty performers from both Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Pianists Deborah Adams and Jennifer Elowsky-Fox are joined by singer Kathleen Flynn in a program of 19th, 20th, and 21st century solo piano and piano and vocal works that explore themes of isolation and individualism. The program will include Federico Mompou's Variations on a Theme of Chopin, Robert Schumann's Liederkreis, op. 39, on poetry of Eichendorff, Berklee graduate Frank E. Warren's Chicago Poems: Five Poems by Carl Sandburg, and compositions from the YES Academy composers in Beirut.
