Boston Conservatory at Berklee faculty member Ya-Fei Chuang is one of Boston’s most celebrated pianists. A native of Taiwan, she is an international festival favorite for her display of rare mastery in performing some of the most challenging solo and chamber music repertoire. Chuang is also respected as a champion of contemporary composers. Upcoming recordings include all-Chopin and all-Liszt discs, as well as the complete piano works of Ravel.

Chuang will present a piano master class to Conservatory students on Wednesday, February 15, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Seully Hall; this event is free and open to the public. Read Chuang’s full biography.
