Indigo: A New Musical follows Indigo, a non-binary person running away from a traumatic past after graduating from college. In their new life in Boston, Indigo encounters both friends and transphobic bullies who push them past their comfort zone. Major changes in Indigo’s life force them to face their repressed past and to choose between a painful familiarity and a frightening new world.
Directed by Jackie Chylinski (B.F.A. '18, musical theater) with Kelvyn Koning (M.M. A Q&A will follow the performance, in which the audience will have a chance to give their feedback and take a look behind the scenes.
