Allison “Allie” Beauregard (she/they) is a Boston-based actor, educator, dialect coach, and director specializing in voice pedagogy, gender-expansive theater practices, and professional-bound actor training. She serves on the faculty at Boston University and the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she teaches courses on senior showcase, the Linklater voice method, and Knight-Thompson speechwork. Beauregard also directs the musical theater virtual showcase at Boston Conservatory, implementing her experience in professional performance, casting, and talent representation.
Beauregard holds an MFA in Theatre Education and Applied Theatre from Emerson College and a BFA in Acting from Point Park University. Their thesis, “The Alchemy of Trans Voice,” explores gender affirmation and expansion through the Linklater voice method. She is also a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA), serves on the VASTA Junior Board, and was awarded the Clyde Vinson Memorial Scholarship for 2025.
Beauregard’s artistic practice also includes applied theater projects addressing pressing contemporary social issues, including anti-gun violence collaborations with Emerson College’s Engagement Lab and the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute. Across all her work, she is committed to empowering artists to use their voices with freedom, purpose, and clarity.
