Megan Stahl joined the Conservatory in 2021 as an associate professor of theater.

Stahl is an educator and scholar who specializes in musical theater, Arab and Muslim American plays and performances, and feminist theater. Her work has been published in Studies in Musical Theatre, Theatre Journal, and Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism. She currently serves as the coordinator for the Women and Theatre Program's Student Jane Chambers Playwriting Competition, a national contest committed to recognizing plays and performance texts that present a feminist perspective and contain significant opportunities for female performers. Stahl is also a founding member and secretary for the Middle Eastern Theatre Focus Group of the Association for Theatre in Higher Education.

Stahl has taught courses at Boston College, Tufts University, Northeastern University, and Pine Manor College. She has presented papers at various regional and national conferences, and has guest lectured at a number of universities. She has worked at the Roundabout Theatre Company and the American Repertory Theater, and was an assistant agent in the Theatre Department of the William Morris Agency (now WME) in New York.

Stahl holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in theatre and performance studies from Tufts University.
