Notice of Data Breach

Boston Conservatory at Berklee was notified in July 2020 of a data breach at Blackbaud, a third-party vendor whose fundraising and donor engagement software is used by Boston Conservatory and many educational institutions and nonprofit organizations worldwide.

The Blackbaud data breach, discovered in May 2020, may have included demographic data for community members, such as names, addresses, employment information, and birthdates, along with philanthropic engagement data. Per our policies, Boston Conservatory has never stored nor provided credit card numbers, bank account information, or similar high-risk data to Blackbaud, thus this data was not exposed.
