I am a firm believer that everybody and every body can dance.
Amber LaBerge is a Boston-based dance educator and choreographer. She joined Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 2019, and teaches ballet for the Musical Theater Department.
LaBerge attended a variety of summer programs: Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Houston Ballet, Chautauqua Institution, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She studied at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C. during high school. LaBerge attended the contemporary dance program at Boston Conservatory at Berklee and performed in works by Mark Morris, Sidra Bell, Robert Battle, Brian Brooks, Zoe Scofield, and Doug Varone. In 2017, she graduated with a double emphasis in pedagogy and jazz dance. She is currently working on a Master of Arts Education in dance teaching from the Royal Academy of Dance.
LaBerge also began teaching full time as an educator for the Boston Public Schools at Boston Arts Academy in 2022. There, she teaches ballet, modern, choreography, and jazz.
