We are always a student. Be open to learn from the things and people around you. A well-rounded person is a well-rounded artist.

Ramone Owens joined the Conservatory in 2020 as an adjunct instructor teaching musical theater dance and jazzdance in the Theater and Dance divisions.

As a performer Owens was most recently on Broadway in the original company of Beetlejuice the Musical, directed by Tony Award-winner Alex Timbers. Prior to Beetlejuice, Owens has performed in Broadway national tours, off-Broadway, and regionally. He has served as an associate and choreographer at North Carolina Theatre, Pace University, the University of Michigan, and Fashion Institute of Technology.

In 2021 Owens taught musical theater dance at New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (NYCDA) and Long Island University. He has been a guest artist at the American Music and Dramatic Academy’s High School Summer Conservatory teaching jazz, musical theater, and tap. He was also a guest teacher and choreographer with Boston Conservatory’s Musical Theater Dance Intensive (MTDI).

Owens is a proud alumnus of Boston Conservatory, holding a B.F.A. in Musical Theater with an emphasis in dance. While in Boston, he attended and received a full scholarship to study at the Boston Ballet’s Summer Dance Intensive, and also performed with the Boston Dance Company.
