Describe your favorite Berklee experience so far.

My favorite Berklee experience so far was (and still is) being able to connect with so many like-minded people. Both peers and faculty have an innate understanding of music and camaraderie that you wouldn't find anywhere else in the world.

When you think about your favorite class so far, what is one example of why you enjoyed it?

My favorite class so far is Groove Writing. I learned how to compose in styles of music that I wouldn't have otherwise thought to have explored. I'm also enjoying Audio Foundations of Interactive Media. It's all about sound design and audio implementation in video games.

What is your favorite part about studying and living in Boston?

I'm from Boston, so I'm happy to be in a place I'm familiar with. My favorite part about studying in Boston is how easy it is to walk to study spaces, food/grocery stores, and other college necessities.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone applying to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee?

One piece of advice I would give to someone applying to Berklee is to become familiar with the majors offered. Having an idea of what topics you'd like to explore at Berklee can help you decide if it's the right choice for you.

Where is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus would have to be the Albert Alphin Library. It's a beautiful study space that's open later than most cafes in Boston.

Why did you choose Berklee?

I chose Berklee because I wanted to study contemporary composition for media and production techniques.

What are your plans for after graduation?

After graduation, I plan on working in the video game industry as either a sound designer or composer.

What have you enjoyed most about the live shows you’ve been involved in at Berklee?

I've enjoyed working and meeting with new people that I wouldn't have been in contact with otherwise. I also love how supportive everyone is. If you go to your friends' shows, they'll come to yours and vice versa.

Where do you hope to perform this coming year?

I would love to perform at PAX East or other video game conventions in Greater Boston.
