On this page, you will find important information about securing your spot at Boston Conservatory and preparing to start your studies. Attend a Webinar to Help You Prepare for the Fall

Over the summer, we will be offering several webinars, meet-and-greets, and virtual drop-in sessions to help you prepare for your arrival on campus this fall. Browse our offerings below by month, and make sure to check back often, as event information will be updated regularly and new sessions may be added.

Boston Conservatory’s Next Steps Checklist can be found in the application portal. The list contains important information and tasks that accepted students must complete prior to arriving on campus for New Student Orientation. Following this checklist and completing items by the indicated due dates will help ensure a smooth semester start. If you have questions about next step items or need help, email an enrollment officer at eo@berklee.edu.

International Students: Begin the Visa Process

International students are required to obtain an F-1 visa prior to commencing their study in the U.S. We recommend beginning this process as soon as possible. Learn more about international visas.

New Student Orientation

All entering undergraduate and graduate students are required to register for and attend new student orientation, regardless of if they have attended Boston Conservatory in the past. 

Undergraduate orientation will take place Saturday, August 27 to Sunday, September 4. View orientation details and register here. If you have any questions about undergraduate orientation, please contact Berklee’s Office of New Student and Family Programs at nsfp@berklee.edu.

Graduate orientation will take place Monday, August 29 to Friday, September 2; please plan to arrive in Boston no later than Sunday, August 28. Details about graduate orientation can be found on the Conservatory's Graduate Orientation webpage. Pay Your Tuition Deposit to Enroll

To secure your spot at Boston Conservatory, you must enroll by paying your tuition deposit.

Tuition deposits for Boston Conservatory are due upon acceptance notification. This initial deposit is credited towards your first semester bill. This deposit confirms your intention to attend the Conservatory and secures your seat in the entering class.

For a fall semester start, make sure that your tuition deposit is paid in full no later than the following dates:

  • April 15 for graduate candidates
  • May 1 for undergraduate candidates

Apply for On-Campus Housing 

Undergraduate students who are in need of on-campus housing must submit their housing application and housing deposit by the specified deadlines. Learn more here

Sign Up for an Optional Performance Project 

Incoming undergraduate students: Want to collaborate on a performance project with fellow incoming students before orientation? Sign up to participate in the My First Berklee Project. Learn more and register here by July 25.
