Boston Conservatory students present an intimate performance and conversation with Silkroad guest artists Kinan Azmeh, clarinet, and Cristina Pato, gaita. This performance represents the culmination of the Conservatory's three-day Silkroad Intensive.
Over the course of three evenings, students will present several distinct pieces of music that explore the different sides of composition and improvisation to have an analytical dialogue about what it means to be a musician in the world today. In this event developed closely with Cristina Pato and Kinan Azmeh, students will share their music with the community and engage in a conversation about the role of music in their lives, both on and off-stage.
