Cellist Steven Doane is universally respected for his masterful musicianship and dedication to teaching. The Strad magazine remarks, "the quality of his playing continually aspired toward genuine greatness. He treads the tightrope between technical rigor and total expressiveness, never sacrificing one for the other." He is joined by Los Angeles Piano Quartet colleague Xak Bjerken (piano).
