Alexis Beffer graduated cum laude from Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance with an emphasis in jazz dance. She also holds an AAS in Business Administration with a specialization in business management. Beffer has worked and trained under the direction of choreographers such as Dana Foglia, Christopher Scott, Ebony Williams, Jess Hendricks, Dana Wilson, Jessica Castro, Olivia Cipolla, Roderick George, Zackary Tang, Christian Vincent, and Robyn Mineko Williams. Her most recent credits include associate choreographer to Ebony Williams at Boston Ballet; the Warner Bros. feature film In the Heights; SisterSledge Live featuring Kathy Sledge at the SMA Awards; the SisterSledge Live tour; choreographer and dancer for ClubNYC; choreographer for Berklee College of Music’s Signature Series event Holiday—Four Decades of Madonna and Berklee Commencement Ceremonies; Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out; BCEFA presents Broadway Bares; and Burju Shoes Fashion Show.
Her training includes the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Dana Foglia Dance, Lipstick Diaries NYC, RUBBERBANDance, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Currently, Beffer is a contemporary and heels faculty member as well as the assistant director at Boston Dance Studios.
