I strive to teach the healthiest vocal technique that will serve any genre of music a student wishes to sing. I believe that students learn most effectively when they can work in a supportive, positive environment.

Gina Beck is known to inject an infectious dose of humor into her private teaching, master classes, and her own vocal performances. Her current and former students are gracing stages on Broadway, US national tours, and regional theaters across the country and beyond.

Beck has established herself as a voice technician, cultivating understanding of physiology as she combines instruction of both classical and contemporary commercial music vocal production. She has also worked in the area of vocal rehabilitation with students diagnosed with various vocal pathologies.

Beck’s performances have delighted audiences across her native Canada, United States, and Europe. She has been described as a masterful technician, able to add subtle nuance and stunning color to seemingly endless line. She holds a Master of Music in opera performance from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and has performed in the Phyllis Curtin Vocal Seminar at the Tanglewood Music Center in Lenox, Massachusetts, the Spoleto Vocal Arts Symposium in Spoleto, Italy, and the Aspen Summer Music Festival in Colorado. Beck is currently a freelance soloist in New England, and has performed with the Cape Ann Symphony, the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, Newton Symphony, Melrose Symphony, Worcester Chorus, the Mastersingers of Worcester, Cambridge Lieder and Opera Society, Consortium of Worcester Colleges, Operafest New Hampshire, the Greater Pittsfield Orchestra and Chorus, Wellesley Community Orchestra, and the Fine Arts Chorale.
