Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s fall Center Stage performance season will continue with an annual tradition highlighting sophomore, junior, and senior dance majors. Fall Dance Concert: From the Ground Up will take place at Boston Conservatory Theater from Thursday, October 12 through Sunday, October 15. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on October 12 through 14, and 2:00 p.m. on October 14 and 15.
From the Ground Up will showcase an original program of seven stylistically diverse world premieres created by guest artists and Boston Conservatory at Berklee dance faculty members. Conservatory dance faculty members Anthony Burrell, Alissa Cardone, Jun Kuribayashi, and Ruka Hatua-Saar White also will premiere new works at the concert.
“From the Ground Up is one of our most exciting dance traditions, featuring all of our sophomore, junior, and senior contemporary and commercial dance majors performing the works of acclaimed guest artists and faculty,” said Tommy Neblett, dean of dance for Boston Conservatory at Berklee and artistic director of From the Ground Up. “We are thrilled to be presenting seven world premieres at this year’s concert, which will be an incredible showcase of dance performance and creative talent.”
