Boston Conservatory at Berklee presents @Lys, a raucous (and naughty) metatheatrical romp written by faculty member Elizabeth Wong and inspired by the licentious ancient Greek comedy Lysistrata, first written and performed in 411 B.C.E.
This multimedia performance extravaganza blends campy ridiculousness, social satire, and gender transgression, with a special appearance by Aristophanes. Greek will also be spoken in the play.
Written by Elizabeth Wong
Directed by Amanda Friou
Audience Advisory: This show contains strobe/flashing lights, a loud sound, and adult content/language.
