Angie Jepson joined the Conservatory in 2017 and teaches unarmed and armed stage combat courses for the contemporary theater and voice/opera programs.
A fight director, actress, and educator, Jepson also teaches stage combat in the opera department at the New England Conservatory and acting in the Theater Arts Department at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She also works as a freelance fight director and actress in Boston.
Jepson's professional work has been seen at the Huntington Theatre Company, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, SpeakEasy Stage Company, New Repertory Theatre, Gloucester Stage Company, Lyric Stage Company, Central Square Theatre, Stoneham Theatre, and Boston Playwrights' Theatre. She taught at Boston University for four years and Worcester State University for five years, and has been a guest artist at Harvard University, Northeastern University, and Brandeis University among many others.
Jepson received her B.F.A. in theater performance at Texas Christian University, her M.F.A. in acting from Brandeis University, and she is a certified teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors.
She current resides in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts with her loving husband and active and lively toddler.
