What has been your favorite Boston Conservatory/Berklee College of Music collaboration?
My favourite collaboration is A Moment’s Notice, led by Olivier Besson. A Moment’s Notice is an improv performance across dance, music, and theater. The environment is so accepting and curious, it fosters a safe place to explore as an artist and to admire as an audience. There are always beautiful, genuine moments in the dancing that root you to the earth and make you so focused you can’t look away. The musicians always blow me away with their creativity and response to movement. And the theater work is so captivating, I worry that if I look away, I might miss the magic. Also, the relationship between everyone in the show is so caring and supportive, it creates an experience I always look forward to—or look back at fondly.
