Julia Noulin-Mérat
Julia Noulin-Mérat is an international production designer and founder of Noulin-Mérat Studio, an intrepid theater, film, and television production design firm, with an emphasis in opera and site specific theater installations. In addition to her work as an Associate Producer for Boston Lyric Opera, Noulin-Mérat is also an Artistic Director for Guerilla Opera, and resident set designer for the Attic Theater Company. Noulin-Mérat has created design for more than 350 opera, theater, and television productions. Recent production credits include, Rigoletto with Minnesota Opera, Falstaff and Tosca with Opera Omaha, and The Barber of Seville with Boston Lyric Opera, as well as an immersive 13,000sq-ft exhibit with China Broadway called Neverland. Noulin-Mérat is an adjunct professor at Pace University and a graduate of Boston University.
